At this site, during the build-up to D-Day, Canadians of all denominations who were stationed in the area would regularly gather for church services.

This is for Katie as it is one of her favourite walks when she is home. If you wish to follow the cache with the walk here are directions. It is a circular walk that returns to the car park. It has some muddy patches.
Return to the gate at N50 53.171 W001 39.557 take the path through the heather keeping the fence on your right. At the bottom of the hill go over the bridge and up the other side. At the large beech tree, as you exit the woods, bear right and go through the gate onto a gravel path. Where the gravel path bears left, turn right onto a grassy path. Go downhill, take the first right then the first left. The grassy path goes down to a bridge. After crossing the bridge go slightly uphill and merge with a gravelled cycle path. Continue up hill on the cycle path to return to the car park.
