For anyone who doesn't know:
The number π is a mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. Pi has no known end and has never been found to repeat any pattern.
This event is being held so we as Geocachers can appreciate the Value of Pi by gathering together with our own Circle of friends!
Stop in in the morning and have a tasty Pi day Treat and a cup of coffee.
Some kind of treat will be provided (While Supplies Last) but if you would like to bring your own breakfast treat to share with others your are welcome and encouraged! While Pie is Great Since Pi is related to the Circular shape any Circular treat is acceptable! This includes but is not limited to Snack Cakes, Doughnuts... even bacon... if you can make it a circle... (please only family friendly treats) ;)
My Boss has been kind enough to donate a room at my work place (YMCA Downtown Dayton 216 N. Wilkinson Street) For us to use. There is a parking lot available but due to limited spaces parking costs $2 per car. Street parking is free on Saturdays. (Please no parking on the East side of Wilkinson Next to the Y) The RTA's YMCA/The Landing Bus stop is also directly out front for those who prefer public transportation.
Currently the event has a 1.5 Terrain because of the small set of stairs required to get into the room where the event will be held. I am working on trying to move it into a nearby larger room that is wheelchair accessible. If I can I will change the terrain and notify on here before the event.
