Geocache Description:

This event is being held as part of the worldwide geocaching celebration of International Pi Day.

Where: By the monument in memory of the 2nd Earl Feversham in Helmsley Market Place

When: 9.15am to 9.45am Saturday 14th March 2015

Why: 'Once in a life date' occurs at 9 hours 26 minutes 53 seconds

2015 is a special year. When the 'Once in a life' moment in time is expressed as month (3), day (14), year (15), hour (9), minutes (26) and seconds (53), it is the same as the first 10 digits of the irrational number Pi - 3.141592653

The timing of the event is such that you will be in the company of fellow geocachers at the "Once in a life moment"; the next occurrence of the 10 aligned numbers will be in a hundred years time.

Come along in the morning to celebrate Pi Day!! Groundspeak are issuing two new souvenirs to celebrate the day. To gain the first souvenir attend a geocaching event on March 14th (20)15, this souvenir is inspired by the groups of people who have an irrational love for irrational numbers. The second souvenir celebrates the mystery of pi—to earn it, log a “Found It” on a Mystery/Puzzle Cache on March 14th
