If you're driving from La Verkin to Hurricane on Highway 9, right before you cross the bridge, on your right, you'll see this large peninsula (with a rough road in the the middle of it) that comes down into the Virgin river. The cache is located somewhere on that peninsula.
You get to the trailhead by finding 155 E. 1050 N in Hurricane (this is the LDS chapel, northeast of the ballparks). Probably best to just park in the NE corner of the church parking lot and walk from there. Once parked, your car is now located near a large opening between two homes NE of the Church. Walk between those two homes and follow your GPS to the cache. Bring your dog, if you want. Your hike from your car will be about 12-15 minutes--all downhill, some if it quite steep. (Consequently, your hike back to the car will get you a cardio workout as you huff and puff your way back up). Cache is a small tupperware (used to be a small ammo box but I don't want that stolen again so went cheap this time).
Fun, brief hike, with beautiful views of the river and gorge.
This can be a dangerous area if you get too close to the edges so please be careful!
