Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in tribute to one of the creatures from the mythology of horror writer HP Lovecraft, Shub-Niggurath, also known as the black goat of the woods with a thousand young. This evil fertility goddess, if she can be called that, is said to spawn countless foul and chaotic beings.

In addition to being a run-of-the-mill, traditional geocache, it is also a seed cache. It contains numerous smaller geocaching containers that can be taken and placed elsewhere. You participation is strictly voluntary. However, if you do decide to participate, there are a few rules I would ask you to follow:

Keep in mind that other people might want some of these geocaches, so please only take one or two, not a handful. If the container is running low, please let me know, so I can refill it.

You can place your cache anywhere a cache can normally be placed, using whatever camouflage or hide technique you wish.

The title of your seeded cache should start with "Spawn of Chaos - " after which you can add whatever you want, the name of the park, your caching name, etc.

Within the description of your cache, add the following line: " This is a seed cache that was spawned from The Black Cache of the Woods with a Thousand Young (GC5NBT3) "

When your cache is published, send me a message with the GC number. I will add it to a bookmark list so we can track how many caches this one spawns.

Approved by Brian Russart, Milwaukee County Parks. Permit # 405.
