La possession templière de Bois-Chassain, aujourd'hui Beauchassin, au village de Saint Hillaire, est unique dans l'Allier car c'est l'une des rares à conserver quelques détails des bâtiments templiers d'origine des 12e et 13e siècles. Le bâtiment principal de la place, anciennement la maison, porte encore les armoiries de l'Ordre du Temple, même si la croix pattée n'est pas parfaite. Un mur de pierre d'un hangar témoigne d'avoir été le mur de la chapelle. A l'époque, la chapelle était dédiée à Saint-Blaise et Saint-Jean. The Templar possession at Bois-Chassain, nowadays Beauchassin at the village of Saint Hillaire is unique in the Allier as it is one of the few that still holds some details of the original 12th to 13th century Templar buildings. The main square building, formerly the house, still bears the coat of arms of the Order of the Temple, though not a perfect "croix pattée". One stone wall of a shed shows proof of formarly having been the wall of the chapel. At the time the chapel was dedicated to Saint-Blaise and Saint-Jean.
