This event is scheduled to last about an hour. If you have a “large trackable” please bring it to the event so that others can discover it. Too be politically correct, small trackables are welcome too! This is also “Pi Day” whereby you can get a souvenir by attending an event on March 14th. Event information is below:
DATE: SATURDAY, MARCH 14TH 2015
PLACE: GEORGE MITCHELL NATURE PRESERVE – SOUTHSIDE PARKING (POSTED COORDS)
TIME 10:00AM – 11:00AM
SCHEDULE:
1. Arrive at the listed coordinates shortly before 10:00AM and for the first 15 minutes, do a “walk about" at or near the coordinates. Feel free to discover some of the LARGE TRACKABLES in the parking lot.
2. At 10:15, discontinue your “walk about” and go to the LARGE TRACKABLE at the listed coordinates; as there will be a log book to sign there.
2. 10:15 to 10:30 sign the log book.
3. At 10:30 we will all introduce ourselves, so we can associate faces to cache names and take a group picture.
4. After the picture taking is completed, through 11:00 will be time to socialize and share geocaching storeies with one another. After the event is over, feel free to do a “geo-walk about” in the George Mitchell Nature Preserve and find some caches – there a lot of great caches hidden there, many of which will be well deserving of a "favorite" point.
