The Wither Hills farm park provides excellent outdoor recreation facilities and is widely used by Blenhiem locals. The Sutherland Stream walkway leads to a pleasent picnic area in the QEII Covenant area of regenerating bush. There are Picnic Tables, water and a toilet located here 1.6km from the carpark at the end of Redwood St. A little further up the hill, to the right and over the fence (style) the track continues, and you will find this cache. It is located near a new gate. Why not continue up and do a loop, either to the left and over Mt Vernon via the Split Apple Track, or to the right at the top of the hill and down ridge track. Great walks that don't take long.
