International Pie Day Event
Time: 5:30 PM Place: Access Alaska
This event is to celebrate International Pi Day which of course falls on March 14th. This year is an extra special year for Pi Day because the year is 15 which is the next set of numbers in pi - 3.1415. An added bonus to coming to the event is that you can earn a souvenir for attending an event on Pi Day. You can also earn a souvenir for finding a mystery cache on that day. We plan to put out a mystery cache to be published on that day so keep an eye out for it and hopefully you will have time to find it before the event starts! Yippee two souvenirs!!
Please plan on bringing a pie to share. The intent is for this to be both dinner and dessert! To ensure an adequate variety of both meal pies and dessert pies please indicate what type of pie you are bringing when you log a "Will Attend." Before deciding what to bring check the "Will Attend" logs to see what pies are already spoken for. Here are some pie ideas (not inteded to be an exclusive list!):
Meal pies: pot pie, shepherd's pie, pizza pie, frito pie, other
Dessert pies: fruit pie (apple, cherry, peach, etc), berry pie, meringue pie, chocolate pie, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, cream pie, other
