Geocache Description:

A solvable Pi day mystery cache.

Egad Holmes, what is it? It came today by post, “ the number 3.1415926” on a postcard. Do you not know my methods Watson? Recall the case of the Hanging Men. It is a code. Bring me the Wiki "Pi" not Pie, Watson you can eat later. The Wiki says: The number π is a mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, commonly approximated as 3.14159265. It has been represented by the Greek letter "π" since the mid-18th century, though it is also sometimes spelled out as "pi”. Watson we must solve the code to find the location of none other than the diabolical Moriarty.

What do we know Watson? To the board! The facts are: N44 46.ABC W068 45.DEF. Watson looks on in amazement. A simple deduction I assure you, based on my knowledge of Mathematics, GPS, GSAK, and the behavior of that dastardly villain. Next bring me the postcard. Ah ha!! A whiff of perfume. I knew that villain would not go to the post himself. Shades of Nero Wolf. Bring me a match, instantly Watson. Yes, there it is a hidden formula and two initials. "IA" egad he has her. Irene Adler. After many hours of rumination and 10 pipes later, he said," I have it. The code is simple". A is equal to the first digit of Pi times 3. B is likewise. C is 3rd digit times 2. D equals 5th digit, E is 2nd digit times 7, Finally F is any digit times zero. Bring your revolver Watson the game is afoot!!
