The Abberton Reservoir is now so much more bigger
Essex & Suffolk Water has invested £150 million to complete the Abberton Scheme, which will help to ensure a secure supply of water to one and a half million people in Essex over the next twenty five years.
The scheme, which includes the enhancement of Abberton Reservoir, installation of two large raw water pipelines and a new pumping station, not only provides a vital new water resource for the future but has been designed to provide benefits for the local community and wildlife.
