It was the end of February and the Easter Bunny was getting ready for his annual hide, he stepped outside one morning only to be greeted with temperatures below zero and almost a foot of snow on the ground. He thought to himself, things are going to be a mess the week before Easter and I'd hate to be placing these caches out there and have all of these cachers tromping through mud to find my hides.
So he thought to himself, "What should I do?". After thinking about it for a few days, he said, "I got it, on Easter morning, I'll head out to North Park start at the Wyoming shelter and hide these caches and the following Saturday, April 11th, all the geocachers can come and look for them. They should plan to arrive at 11:30 AM and bring a food item to share. I'll leave some plates, napkins, utensils and drinks so they don't have to worry about bringing them. Folks can grab something to eat at noon and then go look for the caches I hid. Then, I'll make sure I drop off some door prizes that we can give out at 3 PM."
He then shared this story with TeamLegoTJL so that he could set up the event and invite all the geocachers to come out for the day because it's been such an awful winter that they will probably want to get out of the house, get out into the woods and onto the trails and go to an event outside and not need to dress in layers.
