Geocache Description:

PROUD MEMBER OF GEOCACHINGMAINE.ORG

This is a day that should be near and dear to our resident mathematicians mainehockeyfan and cano. Since Dysarts is known for it's pie, thanks to a suggestion from weatherchicky, I decided to hold a quick Pi event here. The event is only going to be a half hour long (9:00am to 9:30am) for two reasons. First, as noted in the Pi event being held down in Portland, at exactly 9:26 and 53 seconds, the date and time will exactly match the first 11 digits in Pi (3.141592653). I hope to get a group photo at that moment that we can post on the cache page. Secondly, I wanted to make the event a short one to give people a chance to go out and find a mystery cache after the event in order to get the special souvenir Groundspeak is giving out. There's also going to be another Pi event held up in Brewer by the 3Woofs (GC5NC43) at 11:00am so people will have time to get there as well.Hope to see you there.
