Geocache Description:

When: March 14, 2015 @ 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Where: Kamaole II Beach Park, Kihei, Maui

Why: It's PI day! Join us for a brief... or a long... time and claim a find and a souvenir for Pi Day

3 14 15 March 14, 2015. The international day of (π ) Pi... not PIE, Pi !! The irrational number which represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter.

      3.14159265359

Join fellow travelling cachers, and local cachers, to celebrate International Pi Day. In true cacher fashion, attend the event and claim a smiley. For optional fun, locate the log book at GZ and sign in. At that time, choose a mathematical question (don't panic... these will be easy. And if you don't like the one you have drawn, draw another!) In the physical log book record the question letter that you have solved. In your on-line log, reference the question letter, and the answer. Please don't record the question, tho' (smile... we want people to think we are geniuses...)

(eg: In the log book at GZ: Skoki attended and has answered Question D;  On line: Skoki's comment and... Question D's answer is ....)

Each cacher will receive a different question.

The trickiest part of this cache will be the parking. Hopefully you will luck out and be able to snag one of the spots right in front of GZ. If not, you may have a bit of a walk... not a bad thing. In the event of rain, stand at GZ and look at the ocean. Then look to your left. You will see a giant tree. We will be under that tree. This event will happen regardless of the weather (except during a tsunami, of course, and in that event, think of the great caching story you will have!!) This is a come and go event... stay as long, or as short, as you'd like. The sunset from this location is fantastic... and while it will be towards the end of the whale season, you never know, we may luck out!

Hope to see you there!
