Geocache Description:

My first hidden geocache, at one of our local dog walking areas.

This is my first placed geocache. The area surrounding here is my dog's favourite place to be. Her and I have spent many hours along the Tutaekuri River, and my kids love to swim here in summer. Close to Taradale's polytec (EIT) and sports centre (Pettigrew Green), it has a student village alongside. The cycle path runs right along the river from the ocean to Puketapu and beyond, and there's loads of grassy, bushy area for the dog to run and sniff around. There's usually some fellow canines for her to say hi to!! Enjoy some peaceful time out while you're here. Cache is a round micro, which contains only a logbook. Bring your own pen. Please ensure you replace the cache in the same way you found it
