Geocache Description:

Dale End Parking.

The Series was originally called the Power Trail which gave some great views looking down onto the Ironbridge Power Station below. The Ironbridge Power Station has since been demolished thus altering the landscape. For these reasons we are taking the opportunity to revamp the series and adding a TB hotel as a bonus cache and renaming the trail.

This trail is a not always leisurely 3 mile circular walk up to Sunnyside where you can detour to extend your walk along the 2.5 Km Leasowes and Dingle Series and also detour again onto the Vane Coppice Trail to complete those two series before continuing the downhill section of the Garlic Dingle Trail to Dale End Park.

If you would like to walk either of the other series then look out for a footpath between 2 houses on your right before you leave the road to Garlic Dingle Trail 8.

This is the recommended starting point for the series. If you do start from here you can either follow the river going anticlockwise before going uphill to Sunnyside or continue on to No.2 which is probably a little more strenuous to start with but easy there after.

Please note that like my other series the terrain ratings are my own and are based on the trail and not Geocaching guidelines, the higher the number the steeper the gradient, more difficult the terrain or the higher the probability that you may get hurt.
