"J" wanted to hide and maintain a cache for everybody to enjoy. "J" enjoys going on outdoor adventures and thanks to geocaching we get to go on quite a few! She looks forward to reading the logs and checking up on this one on occasion. "J" and "O" (her brother) are competitive so they want to see which one can get the most "found it" logs on their caches in this park. Hopefully these caches have a long run so, when they have their own GC accounts, they can adopt these and be the sole cache owners. For now, we'll all work to keep these up and running.
The cache is located in the Silverwood County Park in Dane County. This park is a recent addition to the county park system and has an intriguing mission and future plan. I do some volunteer work here and also help teach a Geocaching summer school class to Edgerton and Yahara kids. This portion of the park is now open for cache placements and the trails are excellent for hiking and cross country skiing. Enjoy the hike, scenery, and history.
