Geocache Description:

We all know geocachers can be highly irrational - we're often seen walking in circles mumbling to ourselves.  We will irrationally search for many minutes and even hours for a 5 year old MIST even though there is a freshly cut stump at Ground Zero.  And seriously, how rational is it to jump in the car at 11pm, drive across town and stumble around a park in the dark just to go grab a cache because the phone pinged a new cache alert?

We figured that 3/14/15 will only happen once in our lifetime, so we should celebrate all things irrational - especially geocachers!  We thought about going for 9am because Pi is 3.14159, but since we're out in the boonies, we figured it would be far more rational to have a coffee later in the day.  Pokey, Reese and Gumbydude will be hanging out drinking coffee at this spot (1702A Bow Valley Trail) from 2pm to 3pm on Pi Day.  Swing on by to check out and trade travel bugs, swap stories of irrational caching adventures you've had and find a new celebratory Puzzle Cache (GC5NFYK) that will be released on Pi Day.  The puzzle cache is within Town of Canmore limits. We'll also have some cool giveaways towards the end of the event!

Please RSVP as it's a small place and we may need to set up the patio tables - hope its warm! The coffee shop sells light lunches and goodies for those of you who make a day of it.
