Geocache Description:

A hydro pole series.

This mini power trail is named after the Dawson Trail, the first all-Canadian road from the Great Lakes to the Red River Colony.  Simon Dawson was commissioned by the Canadian government to survey the route for the road.  Learn more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Dawson_Trail

The containers for this trail are glucometer strip containers, provided by devildawg, and courtesy of the garbage cans of the Winnipeg Paramedic Service.  Thanks!  I might need more to continue the trail beyond the floodway.

The power trail was indirectly suggested by darth daul to help maintain a winter long caching streak.

Enjoy either as an easy run of smileys, or save them for those awful winter days when getting a cache is just about too much effort and something really easy is required to keep a streak alive.
