Geocache Description:

This series of caches is meant to get you out for a bit of a walk in a quite area and enjoy nature. The caches themselves are geared to peak your interest and give you a wee bit of a challenge, nothing that is going to leave you scratching your head just something that hopefully makes you say hey cool.

We have also included a bonus cache that will require you to get information from each of the first four caches in the series.

If you have a higher clearance vehicle you can get a bit closer to this cache than if you park at the parking coordinates but not a lot. The short walk through the trees is not difficult, but watch your step so that you don’t twist an ankle.

This cache and the others of the series are homemade so please take care with them and drop us an e-mail if you feel that they need some TLC.

Please note: motorized vehicles are not allowed on side trail between January 1 and April 30.

Note: March 09, 2020 There are a couple of different ways to walk into this cache, if you happen to access it via the southeast corner of the orchard at the top of the road you will now come across a fence with a gate. You will notice that there are no signs indicating that you can't go through the gate and if you were to walk a couple hundred meters along the fence you could just walk around the fence. So yes it is ok to go through the gate, just please remember to close the gate after you have gone through.
