Warning: - one short section, about half way around, is on the foreshore and at the peak of high tide is impassable. Please check the tide times HERE
All directions are given assuming you are walking the series in order from 1 to 11 - this is the easiest walk - any uphill bits are done at the beginning and the views are best from this direction.
The walk is all on well marked public footpaths but it can be muddy and wet in places - wellies or substantial walking boots are essential during winter and after rain.
All 11 of the caches are placed within 3 metres of the footpaths and are designed to be easy finds - the walk is the thing.
Tree cover may present problems in some places but the hints should solve any uncertainty.
From Cache #8 the FC track turns north and follows the line of the Lerryn River Creek.
When you arrive at the GZ you should see a substantial holly tree next to the track on your right at the top of a bank. If you stand and look down the bank you should see a tree stump.
The cache is a micro tube in a camo bag at ground level. Please re-hide carefully.
The cache has been placed in accordance with the GAGB FC Peninsular District Guidelines - the woods here are designated as Open Access Land and are NOT on the FC exclusion list.
