The Beautiful Market Town of Listowel is recognised for the number of brilliant playwrights and authors it has produced. These include John B. Keane (The Field, Sive, Moll), Brian MacMahon (The Honeyspike, The Bugle in the Blood), Maurice Walsh (The Quiet Man) to mention but a few.
As you enter the town from the Tarbert direction, you will see a modern art sculpture depicting an individual absorbed in literary bliss
The cache is located on the opposite side of the road from this sculpture.
