Under mitten av 1800-talet bodde Erland Hedenstjärna på Osaby Säteri. Hans bror, Salomon Hedernstjärna, bodde på Stjärnviks Säteri Tävelsås. Mellan de båda byarna går en väg som numera heter Osabyvägen, men som förr i tiden kallades Kalasvägen; den var nämnligen flitigt använd av de båda bröderna. Det sägs att deras hästar kunde vägen hem, en bra egenskap med tanke på att kvällarna kunde bli både långa och blöta.

During the mid-1800s Erland Hedernstjärna lived on Osaby Manor. His brother, Solomon Hedernstjärna, lived on Stjärnvik Manor Tävelsås. Between the two villages is a road now called Osabyvägen, but in the old days was called Kalasvägen (Party Road), it was frequently used by the two brothers. It is said that their horses knew the way home, a good quality given that the evenings could be both long and wet.
