Geocache Description:

Discover High Woods Country Park Series

High Woods Country Park includes woodland, open spaces, a lake and wildflower meadows. Along with marshy areas, hayfields and scrubland, High Woods provides the right habitat for thousands of different birds and mammals. It's free for humans too! The country park has held the prestigious Green Flag Award since 2004. All in all, a place not to be missed by walkers, cyclists and families alike.

This cache is part of the Discover High Woods series.

I have placed caches of various shape, size and difficulty throughout High Woods Country Park. There is no particular order in which to do these caches and of course they don't have to all be done in one go. After a nice walk through High woods you can then have a picnic at one of the many picnic areas or anywhere that takes your fancy!

This series is suitable for family's, dogs and nature lovers.

If you look directly north from GZ you may see through the trees a new housing estate. In the late 19th Century that land was farmland and the name of the farm was Oldheath Farm. The land was brought and Myland Hospital was build in its place. You can still see the water tower on Mill Road which used to service the Hospital.

This is a nice addition to the ever growing Discover High Woods series. You are looking for a 35mm Film Pot.

Happy Hunting
