20% of the population in Upplands Väsby is Swedenfinnish. This means they are Finns living in Sweden. This series of caches introduce you to Finnish activities, some more crazy than others!

Winter swimming - Avantouinti

Finns love their winter swimming as much as many other people from around the world. Many people in Finland swim in holes, sawed in the ice on lakes, rivers and seas. Some do it several times a week. It is very nice, especially when bathing in the sauna. In Finland Finnish championships are arranged each year. In 2014 Finland was honored with arranging the 9^th world championship in winter swimming. The competition was held in Rovaniemi, Finland.
