Geocache Description:

This series runs along Section 18 of the Catamount Trail; a cross country ski and snowshoe trail that runs between the southern and northern borders of Vermont.

A catamount is a mountain lion type cat that had disappeared from Vermont, but there have been a few sightings in the last couple decades.

For more info on the Catamount Trail visit http://catamounttrail.org/. Part of this section shares the trail with the Millbrook Trail (part of the Mad River Path Association).  To learn more about the MRPA trails visit http://www.madriverpath.com/.

CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES.  You must solve this puzzle.

A = the year the Catamount Trail was "born"

B = the year the last section was connected

C = how many sections on the trail

D = the number of the section where this series is

E = the trail is how many miles long

F = 2

Use the link in the description. Add the digits of each answer before fitting them into the equation.

A + B + C = number to add to published N coordinate

D + E + F = number to deduct from published W coordinate

You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.
