Folsom Lake State Recreation Area Challenge Mystery Cache

The final cache is at the posted coordinates. The rating is for the challenge - the actual hide is more like a 2.0/2.0.

In order to complete this challenge, you must log the final cache and find at least 300 caches in the Folsom Lake State Recreational Area Boundary.

After I created the 90% Folcom City Challenge, I got a request for a similar type of challenge but for the Folsom Lake as being the focal point. To make the goal a little easier for everyone to keep track of, I have fixed the total caches needed to be 300 caches in the bounary of the Folsom Lake SRA. I used the boundary that I got from the State for the Folsom Lake SRA and added a bike trail boundary to the official boundary so it was continguous from Nimbus Dam up to the northern end of the SRA.

All cache types count and all past finds count (even if archived). Caches hidden by yourself also can count to the 300 total if needed. I don't create challenge that I don't already qualify for. My total finds in the boundary is 365 finds and I have 3 caches hidden in the boundary at the time of this cache creation date.

Only caches with the starting location in the boundary count.

You can sign the log at any time but you can't claim the find until you have found all the caches. FTF goes to the person who both qualifies and signs the log first.
