Everman United Methodist Church, located in Everman TX was founded in 1906. It has continued to reach out in mission and ministry to the Everman Community for the last 109 years. One of it most important outreach ministries for the last 7 years has been "Hanging Out". With the Everman High School right behind the church, some members felt called to begin an outreach to students who needed to wait a couple of hours for rides or extracurricular activities to start. The church provides a snack of peanut butter sandwhiches and treats to help hold the students over until they can get home. Over the years this has grown to provide support and meals to 200-300 students.
I was privileged to pastor this Church from June 1999 until January of 2001,
