Il passo Croce d'Aune (1.011 m) è un valico alpino nelle Dolomiti in provincia di Belluno, che mette in comunicazione la zona di Feltre con l'imbocco della valle del torrente Cismon.
Il passo è diventato celebre nella storia del ciclismo poiché, durante una competizione ciclistica negli anni venti, il vicentino Tullio Campagnolo ebbe delle difficoltà nel togliere la ruota posteriore della sua bicicletta a causa del tempo sfavorevole. Da quell'episodio è nata l'idea di un meccanismo che permettesse di smontare velocemente la ruota: il cosiddetto sgancio rapido fu brevettato nel 1930 e fu alla base della nascita della celebre azienda di componenti per bici, la Campagnolo, nata nel 1933. A ricordare quell'episodio esiste oggi sulla salita al passo un monumento a Tullio Campagnolo. Un altro episodio celebre lega il passo alla storia del ciclismo: durante un Giro d'Italia negli anni settanta nella discesa verso Feltre, ancora sterrata, innumerevoli ciclisti forarono anche più volte a causa del fondo pessimo. Negli anni ottanta la Campagnolo produsse un cambio posteriore di medio-alta gamma con il nome Croce d'Aune. Presso il passo, passa l'Alta via n. 2, che partendo da Bressanone, raggiunge Feltre. The Croce d'Aune (1,011 m) is a alpine pass in the Dolomites in the province of Belluno, which connects the area of Feltre with the entrance of the valley of the river Cismon.
The pitch has become famous in the history of cycling, since during a cycling competition in the twenties, the Vicenza Tullio Campagnolo had difficulty in removing the rear wheel of his bike because of bad weather. Since that incident led to the idea of a mechanism that would allow to quickly disassemble the wheel: the so-called quick-release was patented in 1930 and was at the base of the birth of the famous company of bike components, Campagnolo, born in 1933. A remember that episode exists today on the climb to the pass a monument to Tullio Campagnolo. Another famous episode binds up the history of cycling, during a tour of Italy in the seventies in the descent towards Feltre, still unpaved, countless cyclists pierced several times because of poor background. In the eighties produced a Campagnolo rear derailleur medium-high range with the name Croce d'Aune. At the pass, passes the Alta Via n. 2, which starts from Bressanone, reaches Feltre.
