Il monte Avena è la stazione sciistica del Feltrino, la più vicina alla pianura veneta e raggiungibile da Pedavena in soli 15 minuti d’auto. È un territorio ideale per abbinare una vacanza di sport sulla neve e di relax, di cultura, di divertimento. Sette le piste, circa dieci chilometri, due anelli per lo sci da fondo con un impareggiabile panorama su tutta la vallata Feltrina e Bellunese. Pedavena, famosa per la sua Birra, e Feltre.
SCI D’ALPINISMO
Lo sci d’alpinismo trova qui una delle sue magiche occasioni: sciare all’altezza massima del monte Avena, in località Campon, è ancora più emozionante pensando che recenti scoperte archeologiche hanno individuato un’industria litica risalente a 30.000 anni fa.
ALTRE ATTIVITÀ
Le favorevoli correnti d’aria consentono manifestazioni di parapendio e deltaplano. Per chi non scia, oltre all’invitante atmosfera dei caldi ristori vicino alle piste, può praticare, nel Palaghiaccio di Feltre, hockey e pattinaggio artistico.
LA CACHE
Per raggiungere la cache dovete recarvi alle coordinate indicate e da qui si deve affrontare la salita verso il monte Avena (sono circa 2.5 km e 200 metri di dislivello, circa 40 minuti più il tempo di ricerca) e trovare due pannelli informativi che conterranno le informazioni per lo step successivo. Mount Avena is the ski resort of Feltre, the closest to the Veneto plain and reachable by Pedavena in only 15 minutes by car. It is an ideal area to combine a holiday snow sports and relaxation, culture and entertainment. Seven tracks, about ten kilometers, two cross-country skiing with an incomparable view of the whole valley of Feltre and Belluno. Pedavena, famous for its beer, and Feltre.

Ski touring here one of his magical occasions: skiing to the maximum height of Mount Avena, in locations Campon, is even more exciting thinking that recent archaeological discoveries have identified lithic industry dating back to 30,000 years ago.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
The favorable air currents allow demonstrations of paragliding and hang gliding. For non-skiers, in addition to the inviting atmosphere of warm refreshments near the slopes, can be practiced in the Ice Palace of Feltre, hockey and figure skating.

To reach the cache, you must go to the coordinates indicated and from here you have to face the ascent to Mount Avena (about 2.5 km and 200 meters in altitude, about 40 minutes plus time to search) and find two information panels that will contain the information for the next step.
