Circles


This cache is located close to a Megalithic style stone circle on the outskirts of Tempo village.  However, this is actually a relatively recent construction thought up by the locals... who are only a few thousand years behind the times with creations of this type!

Urban legend has it that the stones that form the circle were actually once a Fairy Fort on a nearby hill.  Moving the stones for this publicity stunt incurred the wrath of the Fairies who sought revenge.  All those involved suffered terrible luck from that day on, with one dying shortly after the work was completed.

They say that the ground inside the circle never dries, even in the hottest of summers - soaked eternally with the tears of the Fairies.  It is believed that if you dance nine times around the circle Widdershins (anti-clockwise) you would fall under the power of the Fairies.

Hopefully your luck will be better, and you will be able to successfully solve the puzzle and retrieve the cache!

Solving the puzzle will give you the last 3 digits of the Northing and Westing:

N054 22.xxx  W007 28.xxx

When solved, start with the bottom right corner.  Take the numbers as they fall, but make sure you don't work Widdershins!
