Skater's Cabin was built for the City of Cordova by the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) in the 1930's, around the same time they built the ski cabin on the slopes of Tripod Hill. Today, it is a popular spot for lake access, whether it be for summer activities, or skating, skiing, and even snow machining in winter. It is also an affordable rental for group events year round.
I have been wanting to place a cache here for quite some time, but I could never make up my mind what type of hide would work in this high muggle area. Well, yesterday the inspiration came to me - I have been wanting to try a certain type of hide for a while now, but wasn't sure where to do it. So, I killed two birds with one stone. Experienced cachers will likely have run into one like this, but don't spoil it for others with hints in your log. I will upgrade the difficulty rating if people have too much trouble with this one.
PLEASE replace cache carefully exactly as found, taking care to make sure the non-camoed part is not showing
