In your Southeast, you can see the Tian Tan Buddha.
In your West, it is the Ngong Ping Village.
In your North, you may find the Rescue Trail (with more than 20 caches hidden).
In your East, Po Lin Monastery and Wisdom path are not far away from you.
Some facts
Ngong Ping is a highland in the western part of Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It hosts Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha amidst the hills which is about 34m tall. There are several hills nearby which are also attractions to tourists. It is now the terminus of the cable car ride "Ngong Ping 360" which travels to Tung Chung. New facilities and tourist attractions have opened including the Ngong Ping Village, Walking with the Buddha, the Monkey's Tale Theatre, Ngong Ping Tea House and Wisdom Path.
For the transportations, despite of the famous cable car ride “Ngong Ping 360”, you can also get there by bus.
The terminal you get off is Ngong Ping bus terminus, which is about 440 meters above sea level, the highest bus terminus within Hong Kong.
There are some colorful cable cars models placed near the bus terminus to promote the Ngong Ping 360.
