Geocache Description:

An as yet undeveloped area with a brand new Interstate Highway Interchange. This is a medium LNL cache, with plenty of room for TBs. No need for bushwacking.

Please use caution when retrieving and replacing this cache, as usual, :-)

For more than 10 years the state of Georgia planned to build an exit on I-95 for Horse Stamp Church Road.
They finally did it.

There is an old tale about how this area got it's name.  It goes like this:

During the War of 1812, a troop of horse soldiers were in the area when an outdoor meeting, or church service, was to be held. In order to provide ample outdoor space, the soldiers were ordered to use their horses to stomp down the tall grasses. It was then an easy and perhaps natural transition from stomp to stamp by the locals.
