Valley Creek High and Dry Traditional Cache

Valley Creek Park provides 35 acres of woodlands, open space and natural trails along the Valley Creek.

The park boasts  four tennis courts, a pavilion, pedestal grills, extensive nature trails and a playground for younger children. Restroom facilities are available. Recent renovations included the reconstruction of the parking facility and an amphitheater to enable the Township to hold summer concerts.  Another recent addition is a handicapped accessible fishing pier.

You are parking off Route 29 in Valley Creek Park Parking lot.  The lot is only open Dawn Till Dusk.  Please be respectful to park rules.

Park in the above parking lot and walk down the asphalt road. Follow the sign for Handicap fishing Pier. Continue walking towards the fishing pier and over the bridge.  The path disappears and turns in to a delightful, wide open meadow.  I suspect this low-lying area may be flooded during some heavy rains. Follow your coords till you reach the high mound in the center of the meadow. Bush Whack your way in and on that mound and scratch around a little.  You are looking for a pill bottle container that when you turn your head the right way...you still wont see it.
