I was sitting at home one day after hiding another cache titled Bridging The Gap just south of town. I headed home and decided to go a little bit past home. Back to the trailer park where I have had good memories. I have lived in a few trailer parks yes, when I was much younger. I never lived in this one technically. My best friend used to live in this one. Many good times were held here. Playing video games and doing other various things inside during the cold times. During the warmer months our time was spent outside. Besides the street name my friend lived on (Shady) it was anything but. We would go back inside his home looking like we just got a shower. We smelt of dead fish and body odor. Yuck! How did she ever let us back in the house? Not sure. If you were ever in this neighborhood in 2010 you probably saw us shooting baskets or playing army. Or maybe you didn't see us because we were in the nearby woods. This friend of mine was one of the first friends that went geocaching with me. I remember being out by the sports complex hunting down those ones along that dirt road hearing coyotes in the distance. Terrified we were. We eventually found it. He was with me when i found my first geocoin in Bello's cache at the Mulvane animal clinic. If you see my name on any of the logs around town(that aren't mine) chances are you will probably see his name as well. My friend moved into Mulvane and in just a few short months he moved to Derby. I don't talk to this particular friend much anymore. But i will always have the memories of us hanging out in this trailer park with many other good friends of mine. Somewhere on a tree in this trailer park you can find the engraving "Gage, Joe, and Dalton. Best friends 4 life" please if you choose to search for this tree do not trespass in anyone's yards! Respect the residents privacy. The tree may not be there anymore. Maybe me, Joe, and Dalton will go find it one of these days. I think the tree was around the area of this geocache. Again PLEASE DO NOT TRESPASS on anyone's yard. I have permission from the park owner to place it here. He also reminded me of all the trouble, noise, and headaches we caused. Oops. Please don't cause the same things we did. :)
