A quick cache a Tamworth's best tourist spot
Named after the explorer John Oxley who passed through the Peel Valley in 1818. He described the region as "it would be impossible to find a finer or more luxuriant country than its waters ... no place in this world can afford more advantages to the industrious settler than this extensive vale." This is a great place to stop and take in the view, enjoy a walk or a BBQ picnic. Please note vehicular access gates are locked between 10pm - 7am. Cache originally owned by wilbur6bug who in January 2016 sadly moved from the area and allowed me to adopt this cache and keep it going.
