Geocache Description:

This cache is a part of the K9D5 series of five Difficulty 5 caches placed along Bryan Road.  Each cache site has been selected to provide safe and easy off-road parking within a few yards of the cache.  Do not expect to find these caches easily.  Sharp eyes are the key.

First a bit of history:  Bryan Road is named for William Jennings Bryan, the great orator in the famous Scopes Monkey trial intended to deny evolution.  Google it on Wikipedia and learn the fascinating outcome.   Bryan owned 160 acres along the road and lived here from 1910 to 1916.  On your way up the road you will pass by a granite marker noting Bryan’s presence here in Mission.  Stop by and read it but be careful to park safely away from the busy intersection. The old Bryan house is open to the public as per posted times. It is a fascinating place to visit.

This is the third cache in the series.  Look for something that is slightly different.  Be sure to return the cache to a low enough position to keep the container camouflaged.
