Why can't Hobbits climb trees? well, for one, they are too short, and for another, they simply do not like heights, and never learned. This is not the place for you to learn or practice either.
While we were out placing this cache - me and my older hobbit, I realized we were following somewhat in Bilbo's footsteps from the story "The Hobbit" having escaped the Orcs (Also known as muggles), we had ran down the steep slopes on the far side of the "mountains", and were now milling about in the trees taking stock and planning our next steps when we heard the Wargs - more likely coyotes coming from the direction of the "mountians". My little hobbit ran from tree to tree trying desparatly to get up out of reach of these evil beasts, and I worked my magic as the resident wizard before making a brilliant escape in our geoexplorer that stood in for the eagles.
In reality, there is very little to fear when it comes to coyotes, but I wouldn't go trying to make friends with them!
