There are some open spaces and to the North of the track can be seen one of the contour lines of Sandstone. These were living places for the Aborigines. They are not caves, but called shelters as the sandstone is in layers, sections have eroded away to make shelters under the overhang. These contours are facing South. On the oposite bank of the AB Creek is a matching contour facing north and there are numerous shelters on that side with middens on some of them.
Nearby to the cache "Sleeping Rock" there is a shelter with information signs to explain about these shelters.
The cache is a small Bison tube.
Congratulations to Puddypirates for the FTF.
