Tonbridge is a town with a long history located on the River Medway in Kent. This Wherigo cache takes you on a walk of about 1 mile on relatively flat ground around the older part of the town and can be completed within 40 minutes. You must sign the log of this cache if you want to log your find on the Geocaching.com website.
**************************************
The cache, a double potted magnetic film pot, is not at the given coordinates. To find the location of the cache you will need to undertake the Wherigo. On the route round you will pass a couple of Deepdiggingmole’s caches, which you can pick up, including his multicache Mole’s Historic Tour, which visits some of the same landmarks.
At each location you will see some information and are required to answer a simple question. If you get the answer wrong, you will be able to try again, or you can skip the question. You can only skip one question as you go round if you want to complete the cache. If you experience any problems, try walking outside the zone and re-entering it. There are some informative pop-up zones on the walk which do not have questions to answer.
Find out more information about Wherigo caches here. Download the cartridge you need to play the Tonbridge Trail.
This cartridge is suitable for those accompanied by children or dogs, although there are several roads to cross and the final cache is close to the river, so be careful. Most of the route is suitable for wheelchair users, although reaching the cache will require a little extra effort.
Special thanks to Dave and Wendy (lucyflight) for their help in testing and improving the Wherigo.
This cartridge was created using Earwigo - many thanks to sTeamTraen for the development and maintenance of this great Wherigo creation tool.
*** Congratulations to Deepdiggingmole on the FTF ***
