Geocache Description:

Growing up in this area I have seen quite a few things change over the years...

This is the site of the former Attraction known as The Village Grand Prix.- I't was a Go Kart Centre.

Open between 70's to 90's when it ceased trading in the early-90's.

a little trip down memory lane for many locals that may remember the site and it's former

attraction. Loads of people would have no idea that this site once housed a Very busy Go-Kart (F1 Racing Style) centre, that featured Arcade Games and Bumper Boats. In the later years they also included a purpose built go-kart track where the bumper boats once resided.

I was very young when The Village Grand Prix was open, but remember hearing the rumble of the cars from my home late at night from my room as I went to sleep.

Doing laps around the 1km course.

The main building is still remaining, and has changed owners.

The property next door (Right side) the ramp to the upper level business is the original ramp that The Village Grand Prix claimed to be the only downhill starting Go-Kart Track in Australia at that time.
