VSP First Landing Civil War Adventure Traditional Cache

This cache is hidden along Long Creek Trail which you can access by catching Fox Run Trail from the road on the way in to the Trail Center or from the parking lot at the Trail Center via the Cape Henry and Bald Cypress Trails. Please stop by the Trail Center to pick up a trail map before heading out on your hunt.

Come out to the park and rent a GPS if you don’t have one, and let it take you to our cache. If you like the concept of geocaching we also have other caches you might like! Our staff can teach you how to use one of our GPS units if you never used one before.

Long Creek Trail is approximately 4 miles in length and runs from Cypress Swamp Drive to the 64^th Street Road.  The terrain is sandy, rolling hills following Long Creek and Broad Bay.  You can access Long Creek Trail and this geocache from either the Trail Center Parking lot (shorter distance), or the 64^th Street parking lot (longer distance).
