Här i området låg en gång Fastebol Gård. Ändelsen –bol betyder gård eller nybygge, och Faste var ett ganska vanligt namn på medeltiden. År 1538 nämns Fastebol för första gången, och den förste kände brukaren hette då Anders. Gården var bebodd till mitten av 1800-talet.
