平出遺跡は、縄文時代から平安時代までの大集落の跡です。
平出遺跡は、JR中央本線塩尻駅から南西に約2キロメートルの畑地帯にあります。
遺跡の南方には石灰岩の割れ目から湧き出す「平出の泉」があり、遺跡は泉から流れる川に沿って東西約1キロメートル、南北300メートルの範囲に存在します。
発掘調査は数回実施され、現在までに290軒を超える竪穴住居址、建物跡、それに伴う多くの土器、石器、鉄器類が見つかっています。
遺跡は国の史跡に指定されています。
各時代の住居を復元されていますので、訪問の際には住居を巡ってみてはいかがでしょうか。

Hiraide ruins are remains of a large settlement from the Jomon to the Heian period.
Hiraide ruins are located in about 2 km of the field area in southwest from JR Chuo Line Shiojiri Station.
Is to the south of the ruins there is a "Hiraide Fountain" which begins to spring from the limestone of the crack, the ruins are located in the range of east and west about 1 kilometers, 300 meters north-south along the river that flows from the fountain.
Excavations are carried out several times, pit dwelling ruins of more than 290 hotels, building ruins, many of pottery associated with it, the Stone, the Iron kind have been found.
Ruins has been designated as a national historic site.
Since it has been restored the residence of each era, at the time of the visit, please try to visit each residence.
