Geocache Description:

This is a series of 6 Geocaches with small gifts, set in and around Hylands Park. Hylands Park opens every day at 7.30 am and closes between 5pm and 10 pm depending on the time of year. Please note the park is closed for approximately 2 weeks in August. Opening Times can be found at www.chelmsford.gov.uk/hylands-park

6 of 6. Chelmsford City Council has introduced car parking charges for Hylands Park; please see https://www.chelmsford.gov.uk/parking-and-travel/hylands-car-parks/ for details.

We've had to change the coordinates as the bees had taken up permanent residence at the old cache site. This is now a cylindrical tub hidden at the new coordinates above. Please re-hide carefully. The Serpentine Lake has two small islands and was once part of the changes made by Humphrey Repton for Cornelius Henrickson Kortright a Danish Merchant.
