Having recently discovered Geocaching, I thought of placing a small series of caches out here to share this quiet hidden place I used to traipse around in my youth. Were you to start with this cache and head north, caching in a counterclockwise direction would give you a nice loop around the area with no backtracking. There are only grass trails at this time. Use CAUTION as there is barbed wire throughout the area! After visiting here you may also enjoy the caches around the Fox River Marina a short distance west up Roberts road from this location.

The map provided was obtained from the L.C.F.P. offices in Libertyville, it is a F.P. Master Plan, currently there is no funding available to complete this project.
