Crownhill takes its name from the land on which it was built which dates back to 1693.The street names of Crownhill are taken from the surnames of stars from the world of entertainment. This was our very first cache that we placed. Unfortunately due to (we think) a known muggle we have had to change the cache location and container. The old location led to it being muggled many times :-( Every time I put another back out it disappeared :-( The original cache was a fab container which the title represented. This has now changed to a clip lock box, completely different to the old one. We are still keeping the name though in honour of it. We can't believe there are people out there that want to spoil cachers fun :-( We are hoping this one lasts a little longer. This cache has had to change position for the third time now. Please note you DO NOT need to go near the VERY busy road. Please be careful when caching with youngsters. You will need to bring your own writing implement. Stealth will also be needed at this cache site due to high muggle traffic. Difficulty rating has also changed due to this. Please DO NOT park in the vicinity of this cache. You may get some very grumpy drivers. There is plenty of parking around Crownhill itself. Hope you enjoy this nice circular walk/route around Crownhill :-) Hope you enjoy this cache :-)
