Khandaha Fishing Camp in the first camp site in the Zambezi National Park just outside the town of Victoria Falls. This beautiful National Park runs along the majestic Zambezi River, I have added this Cache along with a few other along the River.

This is a stunning location to camp for a night while attempting to catch one of the many exciting fresh water fish the Zambezi has to offer. Famous for the Tiger Fish, which you can catch here, believed to be the best fighting Fresh Water Fish in the world pound for pound. Pictured below a friend with a fresh catch. In this area we are strong believers in catch and release and I would encourage you to follow suit. Tight Lines!

The actual hut and ablutions are in a poor state of repair due to years of neglect but the site is still usable for the hardened campers who do not need ablutions (take your own drinking water).

Being in the National Park you are likely if lucky to came across exciting wildlife including 4 of the Big Five found in Africa. the game in this area is quite often teaming as there is a year round water supply for the animals from the river. There is also a very establish and function anti poaching unit operating in the area. The Unit has have great success working with Parks and Wildlife Management in combating poaching in this park. Some game that are common around the camp site are, Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffalo, Giraffe, Kudu and Hippo.

Note as it is a National Park an entry fee is required on entry.

WARNING: This area is wild and dangerous, please do not leave the camp on foot unless with a qualified guide and when driving in the area do not get out of your vehicle. Be vigilant as the animals can get into the site if you see any get in your car or tent!

Enjoy your stay and "Tight Lines" if your fishing and good luck!
