A great spot for taking photos here , not just of the trains , but also an open and clear view to what is Chesterfields major landmark , Ye Olde Crooked Spire .
I used to sit up here hours on end as a kid with my notepad and pen , these days i use my notepad and pen for this hobby we all play , so there is a kind of conection here for me .
Not yet , but in the near future , you may well even be able to view the well published water front park to be nearby , the houses are already going up like billyo .
There is a small parking space at the roadside for 1 or maybe 2 cars , failing that parking can be found further away .
You could do this as a driveby , or even include it in the first few of my TPT/Cuckoo way series nearby .
It could well be a very busy muggle area , so please be aware .
Also take care with the kids here by the roadside too , although once at GZ , they should be ok ish .
